“I drink my Vegan Power Meal with ice-cold water on the way to training every morning, having fasted since dinner the night before. I then top up with a little porridge at our squad breakfast, before heading out onto the training ground. This is sufficient during training: I’m not short of energy and I feel full, even though I don’t have that much in my stomach.
